“Mm.” John snorts. “I punched him a few times. Felt bloody good, actually.” He half-expects her to say something about unhealthy violent outbursts, and never mind that anyone who has met Sherlock would agree that he deserved to be punched in the face once in a while. “It had to do with Moriarty, the man who made him jump. Moriarty was dead, too, but Sherlock had to dismantle his whole criminal network, and to do that, they had to believe he was dead. That, and he’s a first-class bastard with little to no people skills." He grins dryly.
